This anthropomorphic piece was created for an art exhibit called Posers: Contemporary Portraits. This sculpture illustration brings to life the royal prestige type of personality traits many Persian cats embody. There are many characteristics felines posses which are seen as being not particularity as the sweetest or friendliest animal in the animal kingdom. Most Persian cats are known for displaying characteristics such as annoyance, attention-seeking and very independent. I corresponded those traits to the stereotypical traits of high society aristocrats and their fancy intricate attire. Those two put together created my sculpted character, Rich Puss, and added a vintage frame for authenticity and importance.
